The World’s Most Expensive Business Card is up for sale at 666ETH — as an NFT. Will the ‘real’ Rich Hippie please stand up?
After the sale of ‘Beeple’s Everydays: The First 5000 Days’ for an eye-popping $70M on March 11, all eyes are on the futuristic Non-Fungible Token space. It’s hardly of any surprise to NFT collectors, who feel that we are only beginning to scratch the surface of this digital parallel universe.
Now, a pop art business card NFT titled ‘The Rich Hippie: A Living Paradox’ has been listed for sale, set
at an initial price of 666ETH (~$1.1M). What is also of interest (besides the unique portrait at the center), is that even the pixel size of the NFT follows the standard business card dimensions of 1050 x 600 pixels!
As per the current owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, “the price of this NFT will be increased gradually over time — up to a 7777ETH limit or until when the sale is complete. It’s a valuable memorabilia representing the genesis of NFT history and should belong to a real-life rich hippie.”
